PRINT+PATTERN | FIBER ARTIST

Growing up in the small East Coast town of Easton, Maryland I grew close to family and the memories we made. I come from a long line of artists and designers and always had a project in front of me. I have a weakness for history and through observation of people I want to preserve the moments I capture in my mind. After attending school for interior design my curiosity led me to creating the textiles for interiors to enhance my knowledge of furnishing a room with design.

 

I use my artwork to transform personal memories into functional textiles and surface design. Much of my work reflects on narrative of my family and places I have traveled. I find comfort in familiarity, but also use new experiences to shape my designs. I crave a challenge and manifest my memories as meaningful, complex, and beautiful textiles that can be interpreted through others’ memories.
